probably two of the accounts got deleted and one of the user followed you which autocorrect the fans

@Platzsoldier Yeah, sometimes it happens to me too. Curiously I als notice a funny element that happens to me and I could see by myself; if someone follows me not always I see the number rising (let's say 2-3% of the times) and I assume that either some account got deleted or someone unfollowed me at the same time one follows me. At the same time I followed a person some days ago and before I followed them, the number was 9, so I assumed that it would have risen to 10 after my follow...but curiously enough the number stayed at 9 even after I followed them (I checked other fans and none of them disappeared after my follow).
